Ashley Graham looks amazing in her first cover for Maxim magazine's April edition, but not everyone is impressed with her nude photo. Some people took to social media to slam the 28-year-old curvy model because they thought her body was photoshopped.

Shortly after Ashley heard the rumor, she responded to it, saying that she's proud of her body and no one had ever photoshopped her image. "I'm beyond proud to be the first curvy woman on the cover of Maxim. I was not slimmed down on the cover, and Gilles Bensimon did an amazing job capturing my true figure in all of the photos," Ashley said. "This is another major advancement for curvy women, especially those who work in the fashion industry who are working hard to get the recognition they deserve."

The model added that plus-size models also deserved to have more opportunities to appear on the cover of magazines. "I now encourage more publications and designers to put more diversity on their covers and runways. Let's continue to show that beautiful bodies come in different sizes and they should all be celebrated," she noted.

Like Ashley, photographer Gilles Bensimon, who captured the model, also responded to the accusation on social media. "I shoot this image of Ashley, and we don't slimmer her at all!!! Sorry because you sound so convinced," he wrote to a user, adding, "In fact (almost no photoshop) sorry to disappoint you."
