AceShowbiz - Teresa Giudice was seen hugging and kissing her husband Joe Giudice outside their home in Montville, New Jersey on Wednesday morning, March 23 before he reported to prison to begin serving his 41-month sentence. The couple was holding hands as they headed to a waiting car.
Teresa and Joe's four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana, were seen with their grandmother Antonia. Teresa's brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga looked somber as they said goodbye to Joe outside the house.
According to his lawyer James Leonard, Joe surrendered himself to Federal Correction Institute in Fort Dix around noon. "It was obviously a very emotional day, but this is a very strong family with a tremendous support system and they will get through this, just as they did when Teresa was away," James tells TMZ.
After he finishes his 41-month prison sentence, Joe may be forced to leave the country as he is not a U.S. citizen, but he doesn't worry about it. He tells PEOPLE, "I'm not even worried about that as far as that goes. That, we'll worry about when I get out."
Teresa thanks fans for their support on Twitter, writing, "I want to thank all of you for the love & support you have shown my family during this difficult time. It means the world to all of us."
On Tuesday, March 22, she posted some pictures of her and her daughters spending their time together with Joe. "My Beautiful Family," the star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" wrote alongside one of the photos.
