Titled 'Mariah's World', the eight-part docu-series will capture the former 'American Idol' judge's glamorous lifestyle during her 'Sweet Sweet Fantasy' tour.

AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey is the new reality TV star on E!. The Grammy-winning singer would be on the center stage of a docu-series titled "Mariah's World", so it's announced by the network on Tuesday, March 15.
"I'm excited to bring my fans into my life for the next journey I'm about to embark on," the R&B diva said in a press release. "I'm already having so much fun with this documentary and I know you will too. There is nothing like capturing these moments."
Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Programming & Development, E!, added, "Mariah is one of the most captivating pop superstars of our time and one of the rare artists whose first name alone is instantly recognized around the globe. We're excited to partner with Bunim/Murray Productions, Mariah and Stella Bulochnikov to offer our viewers exclusive access into her private world."
The eight-part docu-series will give fans a look inside Mariah's glamorous lifestyle as she begins her "Sweet Sweet Fantasy" tour in the United States, Europe and Africa. The series will "present a unique, vulnerable and surprisingly humorous side to Mariah that her fans have never before seen while showcasing her unparalleled celebrity lifestyle filled with true glamour, maximum luxury and ultimate stardom."
The "We Belong Together" songstress told The New York Times, "I refuse to call it a reality show. I thought it would be a good opportunity to kind of, like, show my personality and who I am, even though I feel like my real fans have an idea of who I am. A lot of people have misperceptions about this and that."
Bunim/Murray will produce the series. It's slated to premiere later in 2016.
