We're already very close to getting Drake's "Views From the 6". After spending months teasing the long-awaited new album, the rapper confirmed its release month in an Instagram photo he shared on early Tuesday morning, March 15.
The snap shows a huge billboard featuring the word "Views" written in black block letters against a white backdrop. "APRIL," Drizzy simply wrote in the caption. No exact date has been set so far.
"Views From the 6" serves as a follow-up to 2013's "Nothing Was the Same". In between those two LPs, the Canadian MC put out two mixtapes, "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" and "What a Time to Be Alive", which all came out in 2015 and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200.
In anticipation of the album, he dropped earlier this year a new song called "Summer Sixteen", which was produced by Noah "40" Shebib, Boi-1da and CuBeatz. While busy finishing what would be his fourth full-length, Drake found time to reunite with Rihanna for her newest hit "Work" that's now topping the Billboard Hot 100 for its fourth consecutive week.
