'The Flash' Set Pics: Is This the First Look at Rupture a.k.a. Cisco's Brother?

A man holding a sickle and wearing a costume unlike any characters we've seen on the show has been spotted on the Vancouver set of the CW superhero series.

AceShowbiz - Looks like a mysterious character has been added to "The Flash" lineup of villains. Canadagraphs recently dropped by the set of the CW series in Vancouver and spotted a man wearing a costume and wielding what appeared to be a long handled sickle.

Since there's no official statement addressing the photos, speculations began on who the character is. As pointed out by We Got This Covered, the mysterious character bears resemblance to DC Comics villain Rupture.

Rupture, also known as the Hound of Mordeth, is Cisco and Dante Ramon's brother. When Cisco's (Carlos Valdes) family was introduced in episode 16 of season 1, we met his mom (Charlene Luedke) and brother Dante (Nicholas Gonzalez), but unlike in the comics, Cisco and Dante don't have another brother.

Thus, it's suggested that Rupture will appear as the brother of Cisco's Earth-2 doppelganger, the villainous Reverb. Or, if the show decides to feature the character with a twist, Rupture may appear as Dante's Earth-2 version.

There's no word on when the new villain will appear on "The Flash". The show will return with a new episode Tuesday, March 22 on The CW.
