Following reports that Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins are feuding over the former's plans to go solo, a video surfaces showing the latter revealing that the band's on 'indefinite i hate us.'

AceShowbiz - Fans may not get a new Foo Fighters project in the near future. Following a Page Six report saying that tension was building between lead vocalist Dave Grohl and drummer Taylor Hawkins over the former's plans to go solo, the latter has revealed that the band's currently on an indefinite hiatus, or "i hate us" as he calls it.

"We're on indefinite i hate us ... Instead of hiatus, I call it i hate us," he says in a video, which was taken during a January interview with Artisan News but was finally posted on YouTube Wednesday, March 2.

Hawkins goes on explaining that the decision wasn't made "because we don't love each other, or don't want to make music together ... We did so much in the last five or six years - we as a band could go into the studio tomorrow and have just as much fun as we ever had, but I think the world needs a break from us for a little while."

Before the video surfaced, there were speculations that Foo Fighters was going to break up after Page Six said that Hawkin was not happy with Grohl going solo. "The band is billing it as a 'break,' but it's totally Dave going solo, and Taylor is pissed about it," a source told the publication. Another source, however, denied that the two were on bad terms. A rep for the group has also shot down the split rumors, calling them "utterly ridiculous."

Last year was a busy one for Foo Fighters. Following the release of their 2014 album "Sonic Highways" and their HBO documentary, the group went on a massive tour to celebrate its 20th anniversary. At one of the shows, Grohl fell off the stage and broke his leg. Despite the injury, the group finished the tour and wrapped up the year by releasing the "Saint Cecilia" EP.

Grohl most recently made a solo appearance at the 2016 Academy Awards. He covered The Beatles' "Blackbird" during the "In Memoriam" segment.
