Six months after her critically-acclaimed album "E.Mo.Tion" hit the stores, Carly Rae Jepsen returns with a new disco-infused song. The Canadian songbird has teamed up with The Knocks for "Love Me Like That", which is out now for fans' listening pleasure.

On it, Jepsen talks about unrequited love over the catchy '70s-inspired beat. "Now I hear thunder in the distance/ And it hits me in an instant/ Crashing through my heart and I'm blown apart/ You don't love me like that," she sings.

"Love Me Like That" is lifted off The Knocks' debut album, "55", which is coming out on March 4. The duo explained how they got to collaborate with Jepsen in an e-mail to Elle. "We did a bootleg remix of [Jepsen's] song 'All That' and when she heard it, she liked it so much that she made it an official," they wrote, referring to their upbeat rework of the slow-tempo "E.Mo.Tion" track.

"While we were wrapping this album, we had an idea for a song that we thought she would sound perfectly on, so we cold called her about collaborating and she was into it," they added. "We flew out to LA that week and recorded it together. We are really happy with how it turned out."

In addition to the "I Really Like You" hitmaker, The Knock's "55" album will feature collaborations with other artists including Cam'ron, Wyclef Jean, Matthew Koma and Walk the Moon.
