"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." introduces the Secret Warriors and new Inhumans in a new promo ahead of its midseason return. A team of super humans is assembled as new threats arrive and old foe is back.
The video offers a glimpse of Natalia Cordova-Buckley's Slingshot, one of the Secret Warriors, in action. Bad Inhumans wreak havoc, while S.H.I.E.L.D.'s old enemy Grant Ward is resurrected and he doesn't look like his old self.
In the comics, Slingshot is the daughter of known super-criminal John Horton better known as the Griffin. Through her father's mutated DNA she somehow gained super-speed. She, however, has to return to the fixed spot that she activated her powers.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns March 8 at 9/8c on ABC.
