In a new promotional video to celebrate Australia Day, the Merc With a Mouth says that the clawed mutant movie 'was a career low' for him.

AceShowbiz - "Deadpool" is no stranger to giving some hilarious stuff. Just in time for Australia Day, 20th Century Fox has released a new promotional video featuring Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool as he celebrates the day in an unlikely way.
Taking a moment out of his busy schedule of killing bad guys, the Merc With a Mouth sits in a room wearing a safari hat as he starts delivering "a special Australian Day message." He states that he will fit in with the country along "with its shady criminal past and its predilection for black-out drinking and unrelenting condescension towards New Zealand."
He says that he "can't forgive" Australians for giving the world Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). "I've got no problem with Hugh, I mean he's a delightful guy, true legend. But the movie, that was a career low for me, you understand," he says. The mouthy superhero also mocks an iconic phrase from Australia, "shrimp on the barbie," as he speaks entirely in bad Australian accent.
"Deadpool" tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who agrees to become the subject of a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers. He later uses his abilities as Deadpool to fight against criminals in town. Reynolds is joined by the likes of T.J. Miller, Gina Carano and Brianna Hildebrand in the cast. Directed by Tim Miller, the movie will be released in theaters across the nation on February 12.
