It was just a tabloid gossip. Olivia Munn has shot down the rumors that she is engaged to her Green Bay Packer quarterback boyfriend Aaron Rodgers over the weekend.
It was OK! magazine who reported that the celebrity couple were planning to tie the knot. And it was Munn's mom who helped clarify the report. In a short message exchange with her mom, Munn denied that Rodgers had proposed to her.
Kim Schmid asked her daughter about the news and whether she was the last to know. "Oh my gosh Mom no," Munn replied her mom's text before telling her not to believe reports from the Internet. Schmid did not question on the subject further and talked about her adoration of Kelly Ripa instead.
"Answering yes or no to personal questions can be tricky because if you say 'No' it means whenever you say 'No comment' that kind of becomes your default 'Yes'. But since I'm doing press for the next few days, I didn't want to have to answer the same question over and over. So instead, I'm going to let my text conversation with my Asian mom help me out. #Colberto," Munn captioned a screenshot of her text message.
Munn and Rodgers began dating in May last year. Talking about the romance, Rodgers told ESPN a month later, "I'm real happy in my relationship. And I understand what comes with it. And the last couple years, I've learned a lot about perspective and what's important."
