The 'Pee-wee Herman' actor is pictured on the New York City set of the FOX drama series as Oswald Cobblepot's father.

AceShowbiz - Meet Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin's father. Paul Reubens has been pictured for the first time on the set of "Gotham", on which he will play the father of Robin Lord Taylor's character.

Sharing the picture was none other than showrunner Danny Cannon. He tweeted the photo of Reubens as Elijah Van Dahl alongside his on-screen son on the set in New York City. "Back in NY shooting," Cannon captioned it.

Best known for his role as Pee-wee Herman, Reubens previously played Penguin's father in 1992's "Batman Returns". It's unknown when he will make his debut on the Batman prequel series.

"Gotham" returns Monday, February 29 at 8 P.M. ET on FOX.
