Olivia Munn has been actively sharing photos of her upcoming film "X-Men: Apocalypse". The 35-year-old actress takes to Instagram to give fans a new look at herself as her character in the movie, Psylocke.
To welcome the new year, the actress is sharing her "top five favorite memories of 2015" and among them is a photo of herself on the set of "Apocalypse". She is seen wearing the mutant's costume with a pair of black latex pants. She stands in front of some wrecked cars on a post-apocalyptic set.
Munn also gives some new details about her character, describing her as "a telekinetic telepath who chooses to kill with a sword because she wants to do it up close and intimate and killing from afar just seems too easy and no fun."
"Apocalypse" follows the immortal titular villain as he awakens after thousands of years, recruiting the disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and other mutants to create a new world order. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Professor X (James McAvoy) and Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) lead a team of young X-Men to stop their seemingly invincible nemesis from destroying mankind.
Directed by Bryan Singer, the follow-up to "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is scheduled to be released stateside on May 27.
