Prince has released a new album "HITNRUN (Phase Two)" on Tidal. The 12-track collection appeared on the Jay-Z-owned streaming service on Saturday, December 12. Prince encouraged his fans on Twitter to purchase a digital copy of the album after listening.

The "HITNRUN (Phase One)" follow-up include previously released songs "Baltimore", "Stare", "RockNRoll Love Affair" and "Screwdriver". It also features songs that have been performed live by Prince but never released commercially like "Revelation", "When She Comes" and "Black Muse" as well as other new tracks.

Prince announced that he signed an exclusive deal with Tidal back in August, "After one meeting, it was obvious that Jay Z and the team he has assembled at Tidal recognize and applaud the effort that real musicians put in2 their craft 2 achieve the very best they can at this pivotal time in the music industry."

"Secondly, Tidal have honored Us with a non-restrictive arrangement that once again allows Us to continue making art in the fashion We've grown accustomed 2 and We're Extremely grateful 4 their generous support," he added.
