After confronting Oliver at his party, Damien Darhk takes away his loved one to stop his fight.

AceShowbiz - Damien Darhk knows Oliver is a strong rival to take down, so he comes up with a new plan. In the midseason finale of "Arrow", the big baddie apparently is going to kill someone close to Oliver instead in hopes that the Green Arrow will give up the fight.
As seen in a preview for the next outing, Damien attacks Oliver at the latter's holiday party. Damien then takes Felicity into a room filled with apparently toxic gas. "As long as they're alive, you have something to fight for. That is what I'm taking away from you," Damien says to Oliver.
"Dark Waters" airs Wednesday, December 9 at 8/7c on The CW. After the city is attacked again, Oliver makes a bold move against HIVE. Malcolm checks in on Thea and leaves her with a warning. Things take a horrible turn when Damien Darhk retaliates in a brutal manner at Oliver's mayoral holiday party.
