Though she won't officially turn 30 until Monday, November 30, Chrissy Teigen has celebrated her birthday earlier. Chrissy's husband John Legend surprised her by throwing early birthday bash at the Comedy Club in New York City on Saturday evening.
In an Instagram video posted by their pal Simon Huck, the "All of Me" hitmaker serenaded the birthday girl with "Happy Birthday" song. John looked dapper in a purple suit while performing onstage. The guests sang along with him. While the video didn't show Chrissy, it showed her big birthday cake being put on a table. Alongside the video, Simon wrote, "Happy Birthday to the [queen] of comedy @chrissyteigen. No one funnier, more generous, or salt of the earth than you. FULL STOP."
Chrissy was all smiles during the celebration. The Sports Illustrated model looked pretty in a form-fitting dress flaunting her growing baby bump. The long dress featured thigh-high slit flashing her toned legs. She was photographed joining her Grammy winner husband onstage.
During the early birthday bash, comedian Dave Chappelle made a surprise performance onstage. He told some jokes to the guests in attendance. One Facebook user wrote on the Comedy Cellar's page, "Went to the Comedy Cellar on a whim ... Saw some great stand-up. Then, Dave Chappelle hangs out and tells some jokes for two hours at the end. *mic drop*."
