Thankfully, "The Walking Dead" fans didn't have to wait until after the winter break to find out the answer to the long kept secret about Glenn's fate. Following weeks of speculations whether or not the beloved character survived after the cliffhanger in the third episode of the season, [SPOILER ALERT!] the show brought back Glenn on-screen.

Glenn was last seen falling off the dumpster into a horde of zombies after Nicholas shot himself in the head. He was absent in the last three episodes and the actor Steven Yeun's name was removed from the opening credits.

The most recent outing revealed Glenn's fate since the beginning by including Yeun's name back in the credits. The episode titled "Heads Up" also showed that it was Nicholas' body which was consumed by the walkers, while Glenn, covered by blood, managed to slid under the dumpster and hid there for a night until the walkers left.

In a message which aired during a commercial break during a new episode of "Into the Badlands", Yeun said, "I've been following everything you've been saying and it's meant so much to me to see all of your support and concern for Glenn. 'The Walking Dead' has the best fans in the world and I'm happy to be back."

Fans can watch more of Glenn in next week's episode titled "Start to Finish" that will air Sunday, November 29 at 9/8c on AMC. The midseason finale will see the Alexandrians in danger as the walkers breach the wall. Meanwhile, Glenn still keeps hope of being reunited with Maggie.
