Tom Hanks revealed a funny story on "Graham Norton Show" on Friday, November 21. The 59-year-old actor said he was told off by Disney lawyers after announcing that "Toy Story 4" was in the works shortly before the company's announcement.

"Somebody stuck a microphone in my face at some point and said, 'Is there gonna be a 'Toy Story 4' ?,' " the actor, who's voicing Woody on the popular computer-animated film series, explained, "I said, 'Yeah!' And I got a call from the Disney lawyers the next day."

Tom then recalled how one of the lawyers told him, "You are contractually not allowed to discuss a 'Toy Story 4'. It will affect the stock market price of the Disney common stock." The actor then fired back to the lawyer, "Hey, I'm sorry. But let me just point out... I'm Woody! I'll say whatever I want."

Tom also revealed that the fourth installment of "Toy Story" won't hit theaters until 2018. He's going to have a recording session on December 2.

During the interview, Tom also shared a funny story of meeting "Toy Story" fans in an elevator. When a mother and her children got in the elevator, the mother said, "It's Woody! It's Woody," but the kids didn't believe it. After the mother explained further to her kids, "the kids just don't get it at all. They asked where's the vest, where's the cowboy hat."

Tom then asked the kids to close their eyes and he began to speak in Woody's style. "We got to get back to Andy's room right away, guys." The kids got surprised and believed that he's indeed Woody.
