Cookie slaps Laz to protect Hakeem, while Hakeem engages in a rap battle with another artist.

AceShowbiz - Cookie shows how strong her bond with her son in the next episode of "Empire". As Hakeem continues to show how much he doesn't like Cookie's new boyfriend, Laz loses his temper and gets physical with Hakeem. Being a protective mom, Cookie spontaneously slaps Laz and warns him, "Don't ever touch my son!"
Meanwhile, Jamal gets worried that Lucious will be mad if he finds out Jamal and Cookie are working on music together. His fear soon becomes reality and Jamal is forced to choose between his father and his mother to work with.
Hakeem, on the other hand, gets into a rap battle with another artist, Freda, sent by Lucious to diss his own son. Cookie and Lucious then make a bet. If Freda wins, Lucious can get Hakeem.
"My Bad Parts" airs Wednesday, November 18 at 9 P.M. on FOX. Lucious, eager to assert his power, releases a rap by Freda challenging Hakeem as his heir. Not to be outdone in Lucious' eyes, Hakeem fires back at Freda with a rap battle challenge that could put Lyon Dynasty's future in danger. Meanwhile, Cookie gets a special visit from her spitfire sister, Candace (guest star Vivica A. Fox), Jamal is working on landing a major sponsorship deal and Anika receives some life changing news.
