Demi Lovato's uncle passed away and she regretted that she couldn't make it to his funeral. The pop star then took to Instagram to pay homage to her late relative in a heartwarming note along with a black-and-white picture of him.

"This is my uncle Billy. Such a joyful man of God with a warm heart and incredible soul. Today he's being laid to rest.. Please pray for his wife (my aunt Virginia), my cousins and once again, my world - my mimaw," she wrote. "R.I.P. Billy.. I'm sorry I can't be there today.. Unfortunately Southwest Airlines doesn't reach the UK. Haha. I love you.. We all love and miss you so much already."
