TLC has shared the first look at "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" which will continue following the Duggar sisters after the cancellation of "19 Kids and Counting". In a promo for the specials, Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar open up about their lives in the wake of Josh Duggar's molestation and cheating scandal.
"We were devastated. We couldn't believe it. You have to wonder, how did this happen?" Jessa tells the camera as she explains her feelings when her newlywed bliss was abruptly ended by the family issues. Jill also shares, "You're angry and hurt and all those emotions all mixed together. I cried a lot of tears. I still do."
But the girls promise that despite the scandal, "there's still a lot of exciting milestones ahead." One of them is the arrival of Jessa and Ben Seewald's first child. "Ben and I are really excited to welcome out first little one into the world very soon," Jessa says.
Jill adds, "We do feel like we are stepping on. We're excited about what the future holds. We will come out of this fire stronger as a family unit."
The specials will debut this December on TLC.
