Rosario Dawson to Voice Batgirl in 'Lego Batman Movie'


The Claire Temple of Marvel Cinematic Universe is expected to lend her voice to Barbara Gordon in the spinoff of 'The Lego Movie'.
"The Lego Batman Movie" has found Batgirl's voice in Rosario Dawson. The Hollywood Reporter learns that the actress is tapped to lend her voice to Barbara Gordon, the daughter of police commissioner James Gordon who later becomes the famous vigilante Batgirl.

Chris McKay, the animation supervisor on "The Lego Movie", serves as a director while Seth Grahame-Smith pens the script. Will Arnett is back to voice the Caped Crusader. Michael Cera will voice his sidekick, Robin, and Zach Galifianakis will voice the infamous Joker.

Rosario Dawson has been involved in various comic book adaptations. She voiced Artemis in 2009's animated Wonder Woman film and then voiced Wonder Woman in another DC animated film "Justice League: Throne of Atlantis". She also stars as Claire Temple on Netflix's "Daredevil", "Marvel's Jessica Jones", and "Luke Cage".
