Meanwhile, "Everest" came behind "The Scorch Trials" with $13.2 million in its second weekend. The movie came in behind expectations, having grossed $23.1 million domestically after 10 days in theaters.

Rounding out the top five was Johny Depp's "Black Mass", which added another $11 million for domestic total of $42.1 million.
