The trio turned Bieber's track into a disco tune while appearing on BBC Radio 1's 'Live Lounge' on Wednesday to promote their new album 'Every Open Eye'.

AceShowbiz - Chvrches covered Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean?" when visiting BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" on Wednesday, September 23. The Scottish trio, who was promoting their new album "Every Open Eye" on the show, turned the tropical-tinged song into an '80s disco tune.
"We just want to have a bit of fun with it," the band's Martin Doherty explained before the performance. "I'm a huge fan of that tune, and [Bieber's] recent output with Jack U as well. It's really, really good."
The band then launched into an impressive rework of Bieber's chart-topping track with Lauren Mayberry showing off her signature vocals over the bouncy retro beat produced by her bandmates.
"What Do You Mean?" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 upon its release last month. It's currently sitting at No. 2 on the chart. The song leads Bieber's upcoming album that's due out on November 13.
As for Chvrches' "Every Open Eye", the group's sophomore effort is scheduled to hit the stores this Friday, September 25. During their latest appearance on "Live Lounge", the three-piece also performed "Leave a Trace" from the forthcoming full-length.
