A Great Big World has debuted the official music video for their new single "Hold Each Other". The duo's Ian Axel and Chad King show the beauty of love in the clip that landed online through Vevo on Wednesday, September 16.
The first part of the video was shot in black and white. The two turn the city into a vibrant scene as they walk through the streets filled with various people and sing their ballad, delivering a powerful message about love and acceptance.
"Hold Each Other" features guest verse from rapper Futuristic. Unlike most of love songs out there, the track finds Axel and King taking turns singing about both straight and same-sex relationships.
"All the choruses were 'something happens when I hold her,' and we both agreed that I couldn't sing that honestly," openly gay King told MTV News. "So, we were like 'well why don't you say him?' That's sort of when Ian knew and I knew like we had to go this route."
The track will appear on the duo's sophomore album, which is scheduled to be released in November. To promote it, they will visit "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" as a musical guest on September 22.
