Hamill denied rumors that he almost died while filming the sci-fi movie in Skellig Michael in Ireland, saying that it's a false report.

AceShowbiz - Mark Hamill took to Twitter to debunk rumors that he almost died on the set of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". "Fabricated stories usually contain a seed of truth. Didn't so much as stub a toe on Skellig Michael. But thanks for your concern! #FalseNews," Hamil wrote.

It was previously reported that Mark Hamill slipped and fell while climbing up treacherous mountainside of Skellig Michael, an island in Ireland where the seventh episode of "Star Wars" movie series was being filmed. It was also rumored that he would have been a "goner" if he had not been caught by a guide when he slipped on the rocks.

"The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after the events in "Return of the Jedi", and features a new generation of swashbuckling heroes and shadowy villains, as well as the return of fan-favorite smugglers, princesses and Jedi.

Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis and Domhnall Gleeson also star. Directed by J.J. Abrams, the sci-fi movie is set for a U.S. release on December 18.
