AceShowbiz - There is no truth to previous reports mentioning David Beckham is "considering" the opportunity to take on the role of James Bond in the 007 agent's next film installment. A spokesperson confirmed to Mail Online on Monday, September 7 that David "was not planning to step into the action heroes shoes any time soon, despite recently expressing his interest in acting."
David told The Times in recent interview to have been considering an acting career. He even said that he was ready to learn more about acting while at the same time also ready to receive "criticism" for his first roles.
Soon thereafter, there was claim that the former professional soccer player has been considered as the next agent 007 after Daniel Craig leaves the franchise. Daily Star even reported he has been getting "secret acting lessons" from his actor companion Tom Cruise. The "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" actor was said to be helping David to appear more natural in front of the camera.
