AceShowbiz - Netflix's "Luke Cage" has cast a villain and a female lead. "Sons of Anarchy" alum Theo Rossi is tapped to play the titular character's enemy Shades a.k.a. Alvarez on the upcoming Marvel series, while Simone Missick (born Simone Cook) takes on the young female lead role of Missy.

In the comics, Shades is a street criminal who was in prison with Cage before escaping with his partner Comanche. As for Missy, she is described as a woman with a strong sense of justice. She is a New York City police detective who reluctantly partners with Cage (Mike Colter).

According to Deadline, Missy is actually Marvel's character Misty Knight, a former NYPD officer who gets a new bionic arm by Tony Stark after she was seriously injured in a bomb attack while on duty.

Additionally, Rosario Dawson who appeared in the first season of "Daredevil" as Claire Temple is set to reprise her role on "Luke Cage". She will also return for the second season of "Daredevil" and is expected to appear on "Marvel's Jessica Jones".

"Luke Cage" has previously cast Alfre Woodard as the main baddie, Minetta, who is described as a "powerful woman in local politics who will have an impact on Luke Cage's life." Rumor has it, she might be a version of comic book character Black Mariah, who is a professional criminal and a drug dealer.

Luke Cage will likely be introduced on "Jessica Jones", which is due to arrive in late 2015, before his own solo series hits Netflix.
