The first international trailer for a new film from Chilean writer-director Sebastian Silva, "Nasty Baby", has arrived online. Starring Kristen Wiig and Silva, the film offers a unique genre as it features comedy, drama, and a quite dark tone.

Silva and Tunde Adebimpe play Freddy and Mo, a gay couple who are dying to become fathers. The trailer opens with Freddy explaining his plan to someone. "I've been trying to make a baby with my bestfriend," he says.

They ask their bestfriend Polly (Wiig) to help them create a baby. It turns out that Polly is unsuccessful with Freddy's sperm and the donor responsibility shifts to Mo. Mo is hesitant about the idea, but Freddy keeps convincing him, "I much rather a little Mo than a little Freddy."

While the trio navigate the idea of creating life, the effort takes a dark turn as they are confronted by an unstable and homophobic neighbour called The Bishop (Reg E. Cathey). As their clashes become increasingly aggressive, someone is bound to get hurt.

The movie was premiered at Sundance earlier this year. It seems to be a worth-to-watch movie as it won best LGBT-themed feature film category at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival.

Besides Wiig and Silva, Alia Shawkat, Mark Margolis and Agustin Silva star in the movie which will get a limited release in the U.S on October 23.
