Justin Bieber canceled a scheduled appearance at Beachclub on Saturday, August 22 due to money problem. The 21-year-old singer did not receive the paycheck he was supposed to get from the promoter before the due date.

According to TMZ, Bieber was scheduled to sing a couple of songs at the Montreal hot spot and get $200,000. The contract stated that Bieber would receive half the payment when the papers were signed and the other half a couple of days before the event. He did get the advance money.

However, Team Productions did not honor the rest of the contract by Thursday. When Bieber's people contacted the promoter, they were promised the money. But that did not happen either, forcing the singer's team to terminate the contract.

A rep for the Beachclub told TMZ, "We are incredibly disappointed and upset by the lack of professionalism exhibited by Team Productions (the event's promoter) in violating their contract with Justin Bieber and disappointing the thousands of fans that were going to flock to Beachclub today." The promoter reportedly had gone awol.
