Movie

Some on-set photos of Tim Burton's movie adaptation offer a first look at the filming locations as well as some properties used in the movie.

AceShowbiz - Director Tim Burton is ready to make another version of mysterious world as he currently works on "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children". While the movie is in the post-production, some on-set pictures have been revealed, giving a first look at the locations and properties used for the filming.

The pictures show some of the movie's props such as a lamp covered in bugs and a giant carrot lying on the set. Some photos give a look at several filming locations including the pub where the lead character stays when he's not off hanging out with peculiar children as well as the fictional town, which is labelled with "Cairnholm," where all the magic will happen. Another picture shows a dark area full of trees which look like haunted trees.

Back in July, the director took to Facebook to reveal the official logo along with an official title. Based on a best-selling novel of the same name by Ransom Riggs, the movie centers on sixteen-year-old boy named Jacob who follows clues that take him to a mysterious island where he discovers a home for peculiar children. As Jacob explores the abandoned bedrooms and hallways, he finds out that its former occupants were far more than peculiar. They possessed incredible powers and they may still be alive.

Excited to share the title treatment for my upcoming film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. #StayPeculiar
