Taylor Swift is not planning to buy a multi-million-dollar castle in Scotland despite a report published by Mail Online saying that the blonde beauty is eyeing a 16th century Scottish castle to get closer to Calvin Harris' family. The "Bad Blood" hitmaker took to Twitter on Tuesday, August 11 to deny the rumors.

"Cause baby I could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at me," Swift wrote. However, she made it clear that what she wrote was just "a line from New Romantics," before adding, "But I'm not actually buying a castle."

The report previously claimed that Swift who is getting serious with the Scottish DJ had "her heart set on the £4.6 million Tower of Lethendy" which is located just an hour's drive from Edinburgh where Harris' family lives. The castle is very large with eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms, 18-hole golf course, heated swimming pool and tennis courts.

The castle aside, Swift previously revealed her perspective on romance during an interview with Vanity Fair. She mentioned that she was "not looking for anything, not necessarily being open to anything, and only being open to the idea that, if I found someone who would never try to change me, that would be the only person I could fall in love with. Because, you know, I was in love with my life."
