Winona Ryder says "Beetlejuice 2" is indeed happening. "I think I can confirm it," so the actress said when asked about the long-delayed sequel to the classic 1988 movie during a visit to "Late Night with Seth Meyers".

"Tim Burton did this interview, it was very hush, hush top secret ... then he was doing some press for 'Big Eyes' and he did an on-camera interview and he said 'oh, yea we're doing it. Winona's gonna be in it,'" she explained. "So if he said it, I can," she added. "But I really don't know much more than anybody else."

Winona Ryder, now 43, played a teenage goth in the original ghost story classic. Many years later, fans still remember her famous line in the movie and often ask her to say "Beetlejuice" three times as she does in the film. "At airports going through security, I have not been let through security unless I said it," she revealed, "in a very sweet way TSA people, I love you."

Michael Keaton who played the titular ghost is also expected to return for the sequel. "It's not a remake," she once teased what to expect from the second entry. "It's 27 years later. And I have to say, I love Lydia [her on-screen character] so much. She was such a huge part of me. I would be really interested in what she is doing 27 years later."
