Ronda Rousey's life story is turned into a movie. The biopic is based on a book "My Fight/Your Fight" which the UFC champion wrote with her sister Maria Burns Ortiz. Paramount has secured the rights to the New York Times bestseller.

The 28-year-old MMA fighter will play herself and Mark Bomback is tapped to write the script. "It's a real honor to be a part of bringing Ronda's incredible story to the big screen," said Mary Parent who is producing the movie with Rousey.

The news comes on heels of her big win Saturday night, August 1 in Brazil. She knocked down her challenger, Bethe Correia, in just 34 seconds to defend her Bantamweight title.

Ronda Rousey has starred in movies like "The Expendables 3", "Furious 7", and "Entourage". Next, she is expected to star in action movie "Mile 22" which will be directed by "Lone Survivor" helmer Peter Berg with Mark Wahlberg attached on the lead role.
