The 'Drunk in Love' songstress is offered a role of Glinda the Good Witch, which the 'Orange Is the New Black' star is also in consideration for.

AceShowbiz - NBC is eying another A-lister to play one of the major characters in its upcoming live musical special, "The Wiz". Beyonce Knowles has reportedly been offered the role of Glinda the Good Witch.
However, Bey is not the only name being considered for the part. Uzo Aduba, who won an Emmy Award and an SAG Award for her portrayal of Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren on Netflix's "Orange Is the New Black", is apparently circling the same role.
The network has not commented on the casting rumors. According to EW, Queen Bey has actually passed twice on playing Glinda, but it seems that NBC has not stopped pursuing the R&B diva.
"The Wiz", an adaptation of a 1975 Broadway hit based on "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", has already had Queen Latifah and Mary J. Blige on board to play the titular Wiz and the Wicked Witch of the West respectively. Directed by Kenny Leon, the holiday special is slated to air on December 3.
