Justin Bieber revealed the title and release date of his new single. During an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, he announced his upcoming song was called "What Do You Mean" and it would be released on August 28.

"Well, girls are often just flip-floppy," he explained the meaning of the song. "They say something and they mean something else. So ... what do you mean? I don't really know, that's why I'm asking." He described it as "fun" and "summery."

The song is produced by Poo Bear and is expected to be among the new materials in Bieber's next studio installment. "I've been working a lot in the studio, just trying to have a consistent sound, a cohesive sound," the singer opened up.

"I get in my head a lot and I get kind of depressed because I want it to work so badly. I want people to love it. I want to inspire people. Sometimes I wonder, 'Is this good enough? Is this the direction I want to go?' I had kind of a rough week last week. I get in my head and I don't want to get out of bed sometimes."
