The new version of the song off Mendes' 'Handwritten' album comes just days before Steinfeld releases her debut single 'Love Myself'.

AceShowbiz - In anticipation of her debut single, Hailee Steinfeld joins Shawn Mendes for a beautiful duet of his hit "Stitches". In a video arriving via Mendes' Vevo page on Tuesday, July 28, the actress-turned-singer shows off her amazing pipes alongside the Canadian heartthrob.
The simple three-minute clip taken in a studio opens with Steinfeld singing the first verse of the track while Mendes, who sits next to her, plays his acoustic guitar. The two teens also trade verses and sing together in harmony throughout the song.
The original version of "Stitches" appears on Mendes' debut album "Handwritten" which landed directly at No. 1 on Billboard 200 following its release earlier this year. To promote the record, he's been opening for Taylor Swift on her "1989" tour.
Meanwhile, Steinfeld's single "Love Myself" is scheduled to come out on August 7. The track will precede the "Pitch Perfect 2" actress' debut album, which is expected to hit the stores later this year.
