Will Smith is reuniting with Jay-Z for a new project. The two superstars, who last year worked together to produce the musical "Annie", are executive producing an upcoming miniseries about Emmett Till for HBO.

Till was a 14-year-old African-American teen who was brutally killed in Mississippi back in 1955 for allegedly flirting with a married white woman. His family decided to have an open-casket funeral so everyone could see the brutal attack on his body.

Roy Bryant and J.W. Milam were responsible for Till's death. The two men were connected to the white woman the teen flirted with. They were found not guilty of their crimes, but later publicly admitted their involvment.

Expected to run six hours, the HBO miniseries will also be executive produced by Jay Brown, James Lassiter and Aaron Kaplan. It has yet to have an official title or premiere date. No writers have been attached to the project either.
