Dave Grohl kept Foo Fighters' 4th of July concert going although his injury hadn't fully healed yet. The band returned to the stage for the first time since Grohl broke his leg in Sweden last month to play the show at Washington D.C.'s RFK Stadium with the frontman performing while sitting on an impressive throne decorated with lights and guitars.

The rocker treated the crowd to hits like "Everlong", "Monkey Wrench", "Learn to Fly", "Big Me", "All My Life", "Breakout" and "Best of You" among others at the Saturday concert that marked the 20th anniversary of the first Foo Fighters album. He also brought his mom onstage during "For All the Cows" and reminded everyone how he ended up with broken leg.

"A funny thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago," he said. "I fell off the f**king stage. So then I went to the hospital ... had surgery... [but I said] I'm not missing this show for the world. Nothing is impossible!"

Grohl canceled the rest of Foo Fighters' European tour dates following the incident. The nixed shows included a headlining set at Glastonbury.
