The Peacock cuts ties with Miss Universe organization which Trump co-owns and ends the business mogul's appearance on 'Celebrity Apprentice'.

AceShowbiz - Donald Trump is undeterred by NBC's decision to cut ties with him. The Peacock becomes the second U.S. television network which ends relationship with the business magnate after he made derogatory comments about Mexican immigrants.

"Whatever they want to do is O.K. with me," he told FOX411. "I've had a lot of great relationships with NBC, I think as far as ending the relationship, I have to do that, because my view on immigration is much different than the people at NBC."

Following the footsteps of Spanish-language broadcaster Univision which was the first to end relationship with the presidential hopeful, NBC will no longer air Miss USA and Miss Universe, the beauty pageants tied to the Trump organization.

"At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values," the network said. "Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump."

The company added, "To that end, the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, which are part of a joint venture between NBC and Trump, will no longer air on NBC."

On top of that, NBC fired Donald Trump from "The Celebrity Apprentice" where he served as a judge and host during the previous seasons. Before the announcement by the network, Trump himself actually had hinted at his exit from the show.

"In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in 'The Celebrity Apprentice' on NBC. 'Celebrity Apprentice' is licensed from Mark Burnett's United Artists Media Group and that relationship will continue," NBC said.
