Did Iggy Azalea just rip Britney Spears and her team? The Australian female rapper recently took it to Twitter to share her thoughts on why Britney's single "Pretty Girls" in which she was featured flopped on the charts. She claimed it was due to lack of promos.
"Its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured...," she explained. "i would have enjoyed performing it alot, i think it got off to a powerful start. but you need content to compete in 2015."
The femcee then defended her comments as people saw them as a dig at the southern belle and her management. "My comment is factual, it applies to any song. I dont have to suck the womans a**hole 24/7 to be her friend, do i? bye girls," she tweeted.
Last month, Britney "liked" a photoshopped cover art of "Pretty Girls" on a fan's Instagram. The original artwork shows Britney and Iggy while the edited version has a garbage bag in place of Iggy's picture.
