Star Uzo Aduba asked Netflix boss Reed Hastings on Thursday to release all 12 episodes of the third season that night, and he happily granted her request.

AceShowbiz - "Orange Is the New Black" fans don't have to wait until Friday, June 12 to watch new episodes of the show. Netflix debuted the third season of the comedy on Thursday night, six hours before its scheduled premiere time.
The early release came without prior notice. In fact, it was cast member Uzo Aduba who announced the good news to fans at OrangeCon event in NYC. During the panel, the Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren depicter asked Netflix boss Reed Hastings over a video call to treat fans to the early debut. Hastings smiled in agreement.
Soon after, Netflix took to "OITNB" official Twitter account to tell fans the good news, posting, "Season 3 is out on early release! Spread the word, yo. #OITNB." Twelve episodes of the new season of the hit comedy are now available on Netflix.

The OrangeCon event was also attended by stars Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Laverne Cox, Taryn Manning, Natasha Lyonne and many others.
