Rick Ross Arrested in Georgia for Marijuana Possession

Rozay is booked at the Fayette County Jail on misdemeanor marijuana possession and traffic violation charges.

AceShowbiz - Rick Ross was arrested by police in Fayette County, Georgia on Wednesday, June 10. The hip-hop star whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II was reportedly stopped by an officer while driving his Bentley on Ga. 279 due to a window tint violation.

The cop searched the car after smelling marijuana and reportedly found five joints inside the vehicle. Rozay was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession and a traffic violation. Fayette County Sheriff's Office said the rapper was "very cooperative."

Before claiming fame in rap music, Rozay reportedly worked as a correctional officer in Florida. Last year in June, the 39-year-old rhymer was also taken into police custody in North Carolina after a concert for skipping a court appearance for a misdemeanor marijuana charge.
