'The Bachelorette' Recap: Kaitlyn Sends Home Clint, Nick Viall Rejoins the Show
TV

Kaitlyn decides to skip a rose ceremony, takes some of her suitors for a rap battle and annoys the guys by bringing back Nick from Andi Dorfman's season.

AceShowbiz - "The Bachelorette" revealed the fate of Clint following his confession in last week's episode that he had grown closer with fellow contestant J.J. and that he wanted to stay so that he could be with J.J. Kaitlyn Bristowe who wasn't happy to learn about this talked to Clint, calling him the "biggest douche in 'Bachelor' history" and sending him home.

To make it worse, his best bud J.J. threw him under the bus as saying, "I think you should say sorry to everyone right now because you are taking time and emotions. I think that needs to be said. There's an emotional energy that gets taken away and as your friend that needs to be said." Clint, of course, didn't take it in stride, telling J.J. to "get the f**k out of my face."

Kaitlyn decided to skip a rose ceremony which disappointed the rest of the guys because they expected that she sent J.J. home, too. Host Chris Harrison then announced that they would leave the mansion and travel the world.

Their first stop was New York City. As soon as they arrived, Kaitlyn took Jonathan, Justin, Ben Z., Corey, Ryan, Tanner, J.J. and Shawn for a rap battle. After a guidance by rap icon Doug E. Fresh, the guys had rap showdowns in front of a live audience. Kaitlyn commented that it was "the worst rap battle I've ever seen. I don't think there's ever been a rap battle with two guys in khaki pants."

During the group date, Kaitlyn learnt that Ashey I. from Chris Soules' season and Nick Viall from Andi Dorfman's season were there. Kaitlyn revealed that she and Nick had been texting before she's on "The Bachelorette" but they had never met. Nick said, "The idea that you could potentially get engaged and I wouldn't have met you bugged me. ... I would totally regret it if I didn't try."

Kaitlyn then rejoined the guys of her group date and told them about the situation with Nick. They were unsurprisingly not happy with this, especially Shawn. Kaitlyn told Nick she needed time to think about with, and when she returned to the group date, she gave a rose to Justin.

The next day, Kaitlyn met Nick and told him, "I think I would regret it if I let you go." After some deliberation, Nick decided to follow his "heart" and stay. They then kissed.

Next was a one-on-one date with Jared. Kaitlyn and Jared enjoyed a romantic dinner at the Metropolitan Museum. Kaitlyn was distracted as she was worried about Nick's return. She opened up about this to Jared, who sweetly responded, "This entire thing is about you. I want you to leave this and know, 'This is what I wanted. This is exactly it. I'm 100 percent in. I have no doubts. I have no regrets.' " Impressed by his response, Kaitlyn gave him a rose. They also made out during a helicopter ride around the city.

For the second group date, Kaitlyn took Ian, Chris, Joe, Joshua, and Ben H. to Broadway, where the guys would "audition" for a role in the Disney musical "Aladdin". The guys were bad at singing and dancing, but Chris gave the best of him because "Kaitlyn has wanted this for her life. I get to be there for that."

Chris got a rose and he and Kaitlyn went to the rooftop of One Times Square, where the New Year's Eve ball is dropped. There, they kissed. "That guy has heart," Kaitlyn said of Chris. "I just think he would be a great husband."

The episode ended with Nick joining the guys at the hotel.
