Vince Gilligan Reveals Huell's Fate After 'Breaking Bad' Finale

Huell probably has a happier ending than other characters on the show as the series creator says that Huell ends up being 'let out on the street' and becoming 'a free man.'

AceShowbiz - When "Breaking Bad" wrapped up on AMC more than a year ago, Huell Babineaux was waiting in the safe house for Hank and Gomez. Now, series creator Vince Gilligan has finally revealed what happened to Huell after the series finale, giving a conclusion to a loose end.

In the recently released "Breaking Bad: The Official Book", he wrote, "Yes. Sadly, he's waiting morosely on that sofa, looking like a lost puppy...[Laughs] No. It's likely that Agent Vas Oster keeps in touch with DEA headquarters. So, when he learns that Gomez and Hank have gone missing, he would in short order tell his superiors what they were up to."

"Within a matter of hours, really not that many in story time, Huell will be taken back to HQ. They'll question him, find out what he knows - which isn't much - and he'll be let out on the street. Right now, he's doing what Huell does best, whatever that is. He's out and about as a free man."

Prior to the revelation made by Gilligan, Funny or Die offered its own theory about what happened to Huell in a spoof video titled "Huell's Rules".
