Last month, Drake revealed in an interview that he had cut a collaboration with Beyonce Knowles for his upcoming album "Views From the 6". Now, a snippet of the track, reportedly titled "Can I", has apparently leaked online.
The low-quality 12-second audio hit the web over the weekend, featuring Bey's vocals between Drizzy's lines that include "(can I) bring to the 6 where I really stay/ (baby) show you the way I really am/ (can I) tell you what I think my biggest flaw is/ (baby) I try to stay consistent, but I can't."
Drake explained in the interview that he recorded the song "a while ago." It's one of only two songs he liked for his new full-length, a follow-up to 2013's "Nothing Was the Same". The other song, he said, was expected to "inspire a paradigm shift."
The Canadian native is no stranger to working with Beyonce. The duo previously collaborated on "Mine" off the R&B diva's 2013 surprise self-titled album. She was the inspiration behind the rapper's 2013 tribute song "Girls Love Beyonce", but this will be her first time to have been included on Drake's solo effort.
