The queen of selfies, Kim Kardashian, reportedly enforced "no-selfie" policy at her book launching and signing event. The launching event of her book titled "Selfish" took place at the Barnes & Noble on Fifth Avenue in New York City on Tuesday, May 5.

According to Yahoo!, this no-selfie rule "is probably meant to keep the overflowing line moving." Some people camped out overnight to get the chance to meet the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star. A lot of fans shared that Kim was worth the wait. Daily News reported that some of the queuers were from outside NYC.

"She's really funny and she's a positive inspiration for women. She's down to earth," said Alania Abels who left her house in Philadelphia in the early morning to see the idol.

It's ironic to find the 34-year-old star banning people from taking selfie while she didn't adhere to that rule during the Met Gala one day prior to her book signing event. During the Met Gala, she took a number of pictures and posted them on her Instagram despite the restriction.

"Selfish" is a book containing hundreds of selfies depicting Kim's career and life journey in more than 400 pages. They include pictures of her famous curves, as well as her photos with her family, celebrity friends, husband Kanye West and baby North. Her book becomes remarkable as the pictures on that book are about the celebrity and were self-taken by the celebrity. Her instagram account where she usually posts her selfies has garnered 31 millions followers and counting.
