The biopic, which is yet to be titled, is based on Kate Clifford Larson's 2003 book "Bound for the Promised Land: Harriet Tubman: Portrait of an American Hero". It highlights Tubman as she escaped from slavery and helped free hundreds of slaves using safe houses known as the Underground Railroad.
