He also unwrapped the new album's cover art during an interview on the show before posting it on Instagram. The black-and-white artwork features him posing in a black leather jacket and matching shades in front of initials of his name.

Foxx revealed to the show's host Jimmy Kimmel that the cover and the title "Hollywood" were inspired by a fame-obsessed woman he once dated. "Sometimes the person that you're dating is really not into you, it's maybe like a step up to whatever is next. I found this out in a weird way," he said.

"I was supposed to go to a premiere and I got like a 104 temperature. So I'm laying in the bed and the girl that I was dating at the time says, 'What are you doing?' " he recalled and added that the lady only wanted to attend the premiere to show off her new dress on the red carpet.

"Hollywood" marks Foxx's fifth studio effort. It's is led by "You Changed Me" that features guest vocals from Chris Brown. Following the announcement of the LP, the actor brought out Breezy for a live performance of the collaboration.
