Michael Buble has landed in hot water after he posted on Instagram a photo of a woman's butt hanging out of her shorts while ordering food. The picture, which he apparently thought would be cheeky, was taken during his vacation with wife Luisana Lopilato in Miami.
"There was something about this photo lu took ,that seemed worthy of instagram. #myhumps #babygotback #hungryshorts #onlyinmiami #picoftheday #beautifulbum," so he captioned the image which showed the girl from the back.
Some people, however, didn't take his joke well. The Canadian singer has been called sexist and accused of body-shaming for sharing the picture of a stranger without her consent. "@michaelbuble hiiiii this is shamey and not very nice," one Twitter user commented. Another person agreed, tweeting, "@laurendorphin @michaelbuble yep. let's humiliate a stranger. Stay Classy, Buble."
Another tweep wrote, "Super disappointed in @michaelbuble for posting a photo of a woman's bum without her consent (and of course a WoC too)," while one other commenter called Buble "disgusting."
Buble has not responded to the backlashes. He, instead, chose to share another image taken during his trip to Miami as he got a chance to visit his "second favourite place in the world."
