AceShowbiz - A "She's All That" remake is in the works. The Weinstein Company and Miramax are developing a new version of the 1999 hit teen comedy starring Freddie Prinze Jr., Paul Walker and Rachael Leigh Cook.

According to TheWrap, Kenny Leon is on board to direct the remake with Spike Lee's wife, Tonya Lewis Lee, serving as producer. Miramax will also produce the remake, while Weinstein Co. executive Julie Rapaport will oversee the project.

TWC has not responded to request for comment, while a representative for Miramax says that no deal has been sealed at this time.

The original "She's All That", a modern adaptation of George Bernard Shaw's play "Pygmalion" and George Cukor's 1964 film "My Fair Lady", follows a popular high school student (Prinze Jr.) who makes a bet with his friend (Walker) that he can turn a dorky, solitary, unpopular art student (Cook) into his high school's prom queen.

Made on $10 million budget, the movie grossed more than $100 million worldwide.
